Artists Statement:

Deep sorrow, hidden behind 10 layers of protection. All tools in the toolbox have been used, all tools outside of the toolbox have been used. To protect me from myself. To protect me from my truth.  

I speak to you, but we don’t communicate. 10 layers is a lot. One cannot hear through that many layers of protection.

Your fear holds me back, my courage pulls me forward, the protection keeps me at bay.
